Need I say more than just the word itself? Africa.
I'd wanted to go to Africa for as long as I could remember. And not just North Africa, but animal Africa. Jungles, and wild things, and the people who live there. I wasn't interested in the cities, which I figured would be like cities anywhere. And so, after about three months there, did I get what I wanted?
Well, in a sense, I changed what I wanted to fit what I got. I did see jungle, and city as well. I met Africans, but in Southern Africa I usually had more fun with tourists. Is that pathetic? Maybe....
But I was there.
